The new European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) introduces comprehensive requirements for the design, labeling, sustainability, and placing on the market of packaging. The regulation affects manufacturers, importers, distributors, and other economic operators throughout the entire supply chain and establishes uniform standards within the European Union. Companies are thus faced with the challenge of understanding and implementing these new obligations and adapting their packaging and processes to meet the legal requirements in a timely manner.

Manufacturers, importers, distributors, and other economic operators who place packaging or packaged products on the market in the European Union and are required to comply with the PPWR. This is particularly relevant for employees in the areas of packaging development, product management, regulatory affairs, sustainability, quality management, purchasing, sales, logistics, and compliance.
Basic knowledge of packaging law, environmental compliance, or product regulation is a plus, but not required.
After completing the training, employees who work with packaging and packaged products will be able to understand the requirements of the PPWR, identify the obligations relevant to their company, and take appropriate measures to ensure compliance with the law.
